So...we made an offer on a house!! I dont have many pictures, but a few that I will add to the end of this post! Its a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home. Two storied (all living spaces downstairs, bedrooms upstairs) and its perfect! It has a great side yard that is privacy fenced already that the kids would LOVE!! Hardwood floors, brushed nickel hardware, built in 2006 so everything is current/modern. We love it! We walk by it EVERY NIGHT on our family walks!! Here are some pics (these are from their pictures on the real estate website):
Once upon a time, a daddy went fishing several times. To his dismay he did not catch anything. Then one night, far from any river, stream, or ocean he caught two prize fishies...how you ask...take a look for yourselves:
The Blazzards had gotten us a sugar cookie kit a while back (for Christmas I think?) and we had never gotten around to making them. Finally one day while Cameron was napping I pulled out the stuff and asked Kaleb to help me make some sugar cookies! We found some great multi sized cookie cutters and went to town! When we they were done cooking, we searched for ALL of the sprinkles and frosting we could in the house and decorated them! This was what our final product looked like:
Over the fourth of July weekend, our family (Me, Joe, Kaleb and Cameron) joined up with Aunt Katie, Grandma and Grandpa Smith and spent all day on the boat. In the evening we all nustled up in our seats with a blanket and watched the fireworks in Clarkston. What a view we had! They fireworks felt like they were RIGHT above our heads! The kids loved it. We spent so much time swimming, eating and playing that I really didn't get many pictures - but I got a few of Kaleb driving the boat! He had a blast! He took us all over the place, spun us around in BIG circles and figure 8's (all with Grandpa's help of course!)
So I feel like I have neglected to blog all summer! So much has happened! So lets start with fishing. Joe has awakened Kaleb a few times before dawn (about 4:30 am) to drive to Clarkston to climb in the boat with Grandpa and get on the morning bite for steelhead! They end up fishing from 4:30 in the morning to around 3:00 in the afternoon or later! Can you imagine a 4 year old doing ANYTHING for that long and being content? Well he is! Completely and utterly content sitting in the boat! Kaleb caught a steelhead too (with dad's help) on their last trip. Now he tells me, "mom, I need some man time, so me and dad are going to leave you girls at home and go fishing. Ok?" hahaha...How could I say no to something like that! It's really adorable! Apparently there are fish swimming in his blood too (just like dad's and grandpa's!)
