Uncle Matt came from China
A couple of weeks ago we got the privilage of getting a surprise visit from Uncle Matt ALL THE WAY FROM CHINA!! We went and visited Grandma Dott and hung out at home (we only had him for one day), Cameron loved snuggling with him, and he taught Kaleb how to clear a house with a gun like an army soldier!! We were so sad to see him leave, hopefully we'll get to see him again soon!!
Two Wheels Baby!!!
What can make a 6 year old boy more proud than anything?? Riding his bike with two wheels! Joe took Kaleb outside to try taking off his training wheels. They took them off together and Joe showed him how to ride. Kaleb was a natural, he just sort of picked up his bike and rode off!! It took all of 20 minutes and he was a two wheel ridin' crazy man! He rides his bike almost every day now!! He's learned to stand while riding, skid his tires, and more! He's had one or two small accidents but he's been SOOO brave and hopped right back on! Thats my boy!! I should add that Joe is also the proudest dad in the world!! He came running inside saying "teach your son to ride a bike...check!" Goal accomplished!!
St Patricks Day
As with our wonderful tradition - the Leprechauns came to town! We started our St. Patricks Day celebrations by making AWESOME leprechaun catchers. Unfortunately we did not catch a leprechaun, we trapped some but they tore out of our catchers! AND they destroyed our house again!! On St. Patricks Day we woke up early and made delicions green eggs and spam! Then we made green cupcakes with all sort of bright colored frostings. We made of bunch for us to eat and enough to bring to the Applehans and Abselom families! They were so yummy!!
And then there were FIVE!!
We are having a baby! I am currently 6.5 months pregnant so I am clearly a little late in announcing this on blogger, however, I do have great pictures to share because of the time that has passed!! As I said, we're 6.5 months along, due August 9th, ITS A BOY, and we are so excited for this new addition to our little family!
King Arthurs Quest
Kaleb was in a play! The Missoula Children's Theater came to town and we took him to audition. Of 100+ kids and only 50 parts, he got one! He played the mini white knight of the round table in "King Arthurs Quest." It was the most adorable thing ever to watch him up there. He did so good and wasn't shy or anything, he just did his part, sang his songs, and made us all so proud! Here are some shots from his rehearsals and the play!
