He Who Has Lots of Grandparents!!

This week Kaleb got to spend time with his Grandpa and Grandma Zerbe (Grandma goes by Princess Sindy!) They were able to make it to our house, presents in hand and all. It has almost been a year if not a year since the last time we got to spend time with them, but Kaleb really enjoyed it! Greg got down to Kaleb's level and really played good with him! I dont think more than a few minutes went by without Kaleb laughing hard! Sindy had a lot of fun too, she also spent some time getting to know and love on Cameron! It was really good to see them again.

Growing Like A Weed!!

Hey everyone, as I was looking over my last few posts I realized that I have skipped out on Cameron a little bit :( So here are some new pictures of her as well as a little bit about her personality she has come to have in her short 6 months!
She smiles more than any baby I have ever seen and she has the greatest little laugh. She is a very happy baby and I know that she gets that from our home life. From the knowledge gained from the comfort she feels and the loves she feels from her family. We really do love our babies so so so much!! xoxoShe is happiest when she is naked! She loves floor time, rolling over and over again, eating fruit, she loves mac and cheese! She likes to have rice mixed with juice, she loves to be held, she loves it when we sing to her. Even daddy sings to her when nobody is looking! heheShe doesnt like cold fold, wearing dresses or socks, bed time or getting sleepy. She does not like laying on the floor next to anything big. She doesnt like laying down after eating, she would rather swing. She doesnt like getting out of the tub, but I think she thinks she is a "dog fish" in the bath! She is 14.8 pounds (the 14th percentile of her weight class). I guess she is pretty tiny! She is only 26 inches long. So she is still my tiny precious lady Cameron! She loves loves loves to be held by Joe.
She is the softest, sweetest cuddle bug - as well as a good sport about Kaleb. Kaleb loves her so much and constantly wants to hold her, play with her, and show her things, she patiently goes along with him! So far not a lot of tears between the two of them!
Well, I feel a little bit better now that I have some items of interest up here for Cameron! We love you all!!

"Jesus wants me for a sunBEAM!!"

Hooray! Kaleb is a sunbeam! Last Sunday, Kaleb attended his first class as a sunbeam, chocolate and all! He had a tough time leaving me at first but after a few minutes of crying he ended up having a great time! Thankfully a friend of ours (Michele Applehans) is in with the primary kids and she is able to comfort him...what a task she takes on, taking a screaming child and trying to comfort him!! We are very thankful for her or he might not be enjoying class so much! Today (his second class) went great as well. He got to make and wear a little crown and be a prince!! Here is some footage of his "im a sunbeam" announcement when we got home!

"When I Grow Up!!"

You know when all of the sudden the once noisy house goes silent and the children are being good? Riiiiight! Thats when we go running through the house, room to room, trying to figure out what trouble is being made...is there marker on the wall? towels in the toilet? Animals in the dryer? Make up on the animals? Or worse?
Nope...
It's Kaleb quietly trying to get dad's pants on!

Kaleb Turned 3!!!

It was a wintery day, one of the few times snow was on the ground in Clarkston. It was your average Saturday morning, not a lot of traffic, not a lot of people out, a good day for a walk. After a nice long walk, something hit me!?! Then it hit me again!?! And again?! What could this be? A little boy ready to enter the world? before I knew it, I am in a hospital gown walking the floors waiting for the arrival of my sweet little Kaleb. Then on December 31st, 2005 at 5:12 pm (25 hours later) something amazing happened, the doctor placed the most precious little human being in my hands. my very own creation. It feels like it was just yesterday that I was complaining that "this baby is never going to come out" and now I hear those words ring in my head as I say that "this boy is never going to be potty trained"!!! New Years Eve is a special day all on its own, but for our house its a little more special than usual, it is Kaleb's birthday! This year he turned 3 years old and I cant believe it. He still seems like my little baby all bundled up in my arms but those memories are interrupted by the familiar sounds of "I want chocolate milk" or "mom, put my cape on"....but nonetheless it is that time of year again and we had a great time celebrating the birth of our (not so) little Kaleb! FIRST (and of most importance) we stayed the night at Grandma and Grandpa's house per Kaleb's request. Then we decorated their house in streamers and balloons! We got a brilliantly bright cupcake cake and sang "happy birthday" to Kaleb and watched him struggle and laugh as he blew out all three candles (i evily placed them at different corners of the cake)!! Then he got to open all of his presents (he must think he's extra special to get more presents a week after Christmas!!) He got a big Bumblebee transformer doll, and an Optimus Prime transformer doll, some bumblebee slippers, a hummer truck that pulls a bass boat, a toy 4-wheeler with a man and a real working fishing pole, and some other stuff too! OH...some "big boy underpants!!" He is so proud he can use the potty standing up now that we though some good underpants were in order! We had a really good day! Although it would be fun to keep a 3 year old up until midnight on New Years Eve (ha ha ha) but he went to bed at 10:00 pm and we all stayed up until the ball dropped playing Wii games (tennis, bowling, boxing, and golf) It was a lot of fun. I really like these little birthdays for now, once he's a little bigger its going to go from family to "mom can tommy, timmy, johnny, james, jason, max, mark, chris, jeff, mike, nick, ted, darrell, marty, martin, henry, oscar, and andrew stay the night?!" GAHHH!!! hehe...we love you all and hope you enjoy the pics! Thanks to everyone for the birthday money and presents for Kaleb, he had a great birthday! x0x0
